I just recently went to Cabo San Lucas for my first time. My former USC Song Girl teammate – Lauren – held her wedding on Flora Farms! Mexico was amazing. I absolutely loved the mix of desert, coast, and tropical heat. I feel my most elated when I’m in the sun soaking up Vitamin D. This trip was even more awesome because I didn’t have any cellphone service 🙂 We had service in the lobby of the hotel, so I would check in with my parents everyday and post a few photos, but for the rest of the 23 hours of the day I was cell-phone free – which was awesome! We swam in the ocean, played tennis, relaxed, and slept!
The wedding ceremony and reception was held at Flora Farms. It’s a ten-acre organic farm in the foothills of the Sierra del la Laguna Mountains in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. It’s a farm that is copmletley free of pesticides and genetically modified seeds. All the food served at the wedding was grown locally on the farms, and it tasted amazing!! All the food was family style, so I definitely helped myself to seconds (and thirds!). I love eating locally grown food. I try to do it everyday!
